Aleppo Governorate has faced severe impact due to the Syrian crisis, exacerbated by the 2023 February earthquakes, leading to the displacement of an estimated 600,000 individuals from Aleppo.
UNHCR has been operating since 2008 and delivering assistance to 28 out of 40 sub-districts in Aleppo Governorate. During 2023, UNHCR assistance reached 1 million people in Aleppo.

Shelter and infrastructure, core relief items, livelihood support, education, health services, and cash-based assistance
